Happy 2019! It’s been nearly one whole year since my last blog update, although I do plan to utilize it much more often in the coming months. So many changes and new experiences have taken place since!

We’ll start by saying that Easter of 2018 brought us a new home, as we finally moved into our long-awaited apartment. My husband spent his own time, money, blood, sweat and tears building this place from the four cracked, mold infested concrete walls and up. It was a very long awaited journey, but yes, it is finally finished – and more beautiful than ever. We are approaching one year of living in our cozy little apartment in about two months.

My oldest, now 4, has been enjoying her days outdoors beneath the trees and among beautiful nature in her forest preschool. My youngest was enrolled into the forest preschool as well, but things didn’t work out and we recently made the decision to pull her out. Concerned that she would somehow lose her love of nature, I decided to homeschool her a few days per week… in the forest! Our homeschooling adventures will be posted at a later date.
